Its name says it all: AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC is licensed to care for six (6) senior Residents who cannot safely live alone, including those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia, and who require a variety of personal care tasks.

AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC is a purpose-built one-level home located in the peaceful and development centers of the city of Vancouver, State of Washington.

With sitting rooms, space for residents to continue their hobbies and interests, and delightful dining rooms, AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialize, and be creative. The large front yard and continued paved walkways to the shaded and covered back yard is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family and is happily looked after by some of our Residents. The bright comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.

AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC's caring team has created a family atmosphere encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents and families are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture if required and treasured belongings. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support the mind, body, and soul.

Our exceptionally trained team will deliver all the personalized and special care and support services that your loved one deserves. We are mindful of an individual's likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and suggestions from a family that will make their stay with us more enjoyable and satisfying.

Our Story...

"AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC is the result of the mother and son merger of talents, dedication, passion, and appreciation to their mother and grandmother, AURORA ZAMORA FERNANDEZ.

A widow at 33 years old, and a proud caregiver for 30 years, AURORA raised her children by herself: All of them earned their bachelor’s degrees with flying colors. She also raised her four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter when their mother went to work overseas. All of the four grandchildren also finished their bachelor’s degrees, three of them landed in the medical field and the other in the administrative job. The great-granddaughter is consistently an A student in school.

All these years, it is the family tradition to get educated and strive for excellence no matter what the storm in life could possibly bring. Her motto: Decide - Commit - Pursue - Share.

Sadly, in her last days, it was found out she had Alzheimer's disease. No one knew she had silently undergone this chronic neurodegenerative illness, as she continued to be independent, jolly, and always ready to help in any way she could. Her unconditional love for the family and for others in the community has inspired the owner to honor his grandmother by establishing a company that will continually echo the advocacy of kindness to families, the elderly, and the disabled.

Licensed by the Department of Social Health and Services since 2020, in Vancouver, Washington State, AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC is ready to serve the vulnerable members of our community.
