AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC

"AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC is the result of the mother and son merger of talents, dedication, passion, and appreciation to their mother and grandmother, AURORA ZAMORA FERNANDEZ.

A widow at 33 years old, and a proud caregiver for 30 years, AURORA raised her children by herself: all of them earned their bachelor’s degrees with flying colors. She also raised her four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter when their mother went to work overseas. All of the four grandchildren also finished their bachelor’s degrees, three of them landed in the medical field and the other in the administrative job. The great-granddaughter is consistently an A student in school.

All these years, it is the family tradition to get educated and strive for excellence no matter what the storm in life could possibly bring. Her motto: Decide - Commit - Pursue - Share.

Sadly, in her last days, it was found out she had Alzheimer's disease. No one knew she had silently undergone this chronic neurodegenerative illness, as she continued to be independent, jolly, and always ready to help in any way she could. Her unconditional love for the family and for others in the community has inspired the owner to honor his grandmother by establishing a company that will continually echo the advocacy of kindness to families, the elderly, and the disabled.

Licensed by the Department of Social Health and Services since 2020, in Vancouver, Washington State, AURORA Adult Family Home, LLC is ready to serve the vulnerable members of our community.
